di redazione – Artigianato a Palazzo torna a Firenze nello splendido giardino seicentesco di Palazzo Corsini da giovedì 16 a domenica 19 maggio 2013 e con la novità di due aperture serali straordinarie fino alle 22.30 di venerdì 17 e sabato 18.

Il consueto appuntamento con la maestria di oltre 80 maestri artigiani italiani e stranieri, accuratamente selezionati da Neri Torrigiani e Giorgiana Corsini è una occasione unica per ammirare dal vivo i gesti e i manufatti che i maestri artigiani realizzano con movimenti meticolosi ed eleganti, curando ogni minimo dettaglio, sotto gli sguardi attenti e curiosi di un pubblico affezionato e numeroso.

Lungo i viali fioriti e le antiche limonaie si potranno trovare riuniti i rappresentanti degli antichi mestier itra cui la Moleria Locchi, bottega artigiana famosa in tutto il mondo per la maestria con cui lavora vetro e cristalli fin dall’800; il Consorzio del Cappello con la manualità e la fantasia delle sue modiste; la scuola di Oreficeria Le Arti Orafe con la freschezza delle creazioni dei giovani artisti e quelle di stampo rinascimentale di Paolo Penko; Lorenzo Villoresic on i suoi profumi ed essenze; Tommaso De Carlo con i suoi lavori di decorazione, frutto di una continua ricerca di forme ed applicazioni; Arte Ricami Macchi di Nazarena Bastioni che da oltre vent’anni crea biancheria per la casa completamente ricamata a mano; il tornitore di penne in legno pregiato Maurizio Mechini; l’Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella protagonista nella passata edizione della Mostra Principe; la Tappezzeria Magnolfi che restaura mobili imbottiti con la tecnica tradizionale dei doppi ripieni con crine, vegetale e molle legate.

Nell’Orto delle Monache e nella Limonaia Piccola sarà riunita una nuova selezione di artigiani scelti dalle Fondazioni Bancarie che aderiscono all’Associazione OmA, Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte.

Tra le novità, i raffinati gioielli in pizzo antico di Dandelion Firenze,realizzati da due giovani artigiane fiorentine con le stesse lavorazioni utilizzate dalle ricamatrici nell’Ottocento; le terracotte in bucchero nero etrusco di Annalisa Capodanno; le borse, gli accessori e i complementi d’arredo di KevLove che Elena Filippini ottiene trasformando vele nautiche dismesse; le creative pantofole “furlane” ispirate alle calzature dei gondolieri del laboratorio veneziano Pied a Terre; la giovanissima Erin Ciulla dellalegatoria artigianaIl Torchio; i patchwork di tradizione di Lydie Lefevre Chanroux e molte altre.

Mercoledì 15 maggio alle ore 18.30, durante la preview ad inviti, sotto la Loggia del Buontalenti di Palazzo Corsini si terrà l’asta benefica “Incanto dei talenti per raccogliere fondi in favore della onlus Progetto ITACA Firenze, Associazione che sostiene persone che soffrono di disagi psichici restituendo loro autonomia sociale e introducendole nel mondo del lavoro. Protagonista dell’asta, che eccezionalmente avrà come battitore la direttrice di Christie’s Italia Clarice Pecori Giraldi, il talento degli artigiani, dei professionisti e degli artisti che metteranno a disposizione la loro esperienza e le loro capacità creative. Andranno all’incanto infatti non oggetti ma bensì lezioni di restauro e decorazione, musica, sportive, di arredo floreale e giardinaggio, consulenze mediche e legali e molti altri servizi utili.

Moltissime le iniziativeche durante i giorni di mostra saranno organizzate tra i viali fioriti e le limonaie del giardino progettato da Gherardo Silvani, per promuovere e diffondere nel mondo la tradizione italiana del fatto a mano e la qualità degli antichi mestieri, proseguendo lo spirito che da quasi venti anni anima Artigianato e Palazzo.

Come ogni anno l’Associazione Città Nascosta terrà visite guidate al Giardino Corsini tutti i giorni alle ore 12 e alle 18 e il ristorante Sotto i Tigli offrirà durante tutta la manifestazione deliziose prelibatezze tipiche della cucina toscana oltre al nuovo appuntamento con l’aperitivo (biglietto di ingresso ridotto dalle ore 19,00) e le cene a lume di candela in giardino.
