di Nicoletta Curradi – Dal 24 settembre 2013 al 5 gennaio 2014 Firenze ospita nella Reggia di Palazzo Pitti una preziosa rassegna di pittura impressionista. 12 capolavori dal Museo d’Orsay vengono esposti nel Salone da Ballo del Quartiere d’Inverno della Galleria d’arte moderna.
Lo straordinario evento è frutto di uno scambio fra i due importanti istituti museali francese e italiano. Infatti il Museo d’Orsay, nel segno della reciprocità, ha prestato i 12 capolavori impressionisti a seguito dell’importante contributo della Galleria d’arte moderna alla realizzazione a Parigi, presso il Museo de l’Orangerie dal 10 aprile al 22 luglio scorsi, della mostra “I macchiaioli des impressionistes italiens?”.
Afferma la Soprintendente Cristina Acidini: “Si tratta di una mostra selettiva e meditata che, nel prendere le distanze dall’inflazionata usanza di esporre una “manciata” di quadri impressionisti per garantire agli organizzatori un sicuro successo ovunque nel mondo, si propone di rinnovare per i Fiorentini e per il pubblico internazionale di Palazzo Pitti l’incontro con la pittura impressionista entro la cornice dei confronti, delle suggestioni, dei ritmi dei quali solo Palazzo Pitti è depositario”.
19 capolavori dei maggiori protagonisti del movimento toscano, oltre al prezioso Album lo Zibaldone di Telemaco Signorini, sono usciti per 3 mesi dalla galleria fiorentina, l’istituzione che possiede la più importante raccolta di opere del movimento macchiaiolo. Così la Galleria d’arte moderna di Palazzo Pitti ha voluto dare il proprio sostanziale contributo a questo scambio culturale che mette in luce sincronicità del sentire e analogie di ricerca fra artisti francesi e italiani nella seconda metà dell’Ottocento.
Due Degas, due Monet, due Cézanne, due Renoir, due Pissarro, un Fantin Latour oltre ad un’ opera di Paul Guigou in mostra potrebbero suggerire ulteriori strade di studio e ricerca tese a mettere in luce alcune possibili contaminazioni tra le due culture francese e toscana, che possono aver costituito un punto di riferimento essenziale anche per le esperienze del nostro Novecento.
Le opere provenienti dal Museo d’ Orsay troveranno ad accoglierle in mostra due Pissarro Il taglio della siepe e l’Approssimarsi della bufera, oltre ad un piccolo olio di Alphonse Maureau Sulle rive della Senna, che facevano parte della collezione di Diego Martelli – critico d’arte molto vicino ai pittori macchiaioli nonché uno dei primi sostenitori in Italia dell’impressionismo – e furono da lui legati al museo con atto testamentario del 1894. Martelli aveva del resto sempre sperato, e lo aveva scritto più volte, di unire queste sue opere ad alcune tele di Fattori, di Gioli e di altri esponenti del movimento macchiaiolo per dimostrare, attraverso un confronto diretto tra le opere, le somiglianze tra i due linguaggi.
La mostra non intende esporre queste opere impressioniste e di altri esponenti di punta dell’ Ottocento francese come una rara occasione per riflettere sul pensiero culturale e filosofico che aveva portato a risultati così moderni già verso gli anni 70 dell’Ottocento.
Due le sezioni: la prima l’En plein air dedicata alle rappresentazioni di esterni: ai paesaggi ed al rapporto con la luce e le sue vibrazioni, iniziando da una Lavandaia di Paul Guigou del 1860, uno studio di nudo femminile di Auguste Renoir del 1875-76, per proseguire con Camille Pissarro, Sentiero in mezzo al bosco in estate, del 1877, mentre il L’ approssimarsi della bufera, del medesimo anno, è della Galleria d’arte moderna così come Il taglio della siepe del 1878. Sempre di Pissarro Un angolo di giardino all’Hermitage del 1877, mentre di Claude Monet la tavola del 1875 raffigurante Les Tuileries e del 1890 La Senna a Port – Villez .
La seconda sezione, dedicata agli interni, si apre con la Lettrice del 1861, e procede con un interno di natura collettiva e sociale, la Prova di balletto sulla scena del 1874, uno dei capolavori di Edgard Degas, poi con il Ritratto di donna con un vaso di porcellana del 1872 per giungere alle due nature morte di Cèzanne Il vaso blu del 1889-90 e Natura morta con cassetto aperto del 1877-79 e, a conclusione del percorso, un ritratto del 1911 di Augusto Renoir Gabriella con la rosa.
La mostra é stata curata – così come il catalogo edito da Sillabe – da Simonella Condemi e Rosanna Morozzi e promossa dal Ministero dei beni e delle attività culturali e del turismo con la Direzione Regionale per i Beni Culturali e Paesaggistici della Toscana, la Soprintendenza Speciale per il Patrimonio Storico, Artistico ed Etnoantropologico e per il Polo Museale della città di Firenze, la Galleria d’arte moderna di Palazzo Pitti e Firenze Musei.
Oltre ai capolavori impressionisti, prestito eccezionale dal Museo d ‘Orsay, il visitatore dal prossimo 30 settembre con lo stesso biglietto d’ingresso alla mostra potrà vedere non solo la collezione stabile della Galleria d’arte moderna, ma anche presso l ‘Andito degli Angiolini l’esposizione Ottocento Novecento. Acquisizioni 2008-2012, dove si presenteranno 30 opere acquistate dallo stesso museo o pervenutegli per donazione in quell’intervallo di tempo.
Inoltre alla fine di ottobre, nello stesso Andito degli Angiolini, avrà luogo una personale del pittore Possenti, a cura di Antonio Paolucci.
Tutte queste iniziative, insieme alle visite guidate gratuite nel quartiere della Duchessa d’Aosta ogni martedì fino al 17 dicembre, documentano un autunno molto intenso di eventi culturali promosso dalla Galleria d’arte moderna di Palazzo Pitti.

La prima giornata di sabato 21 settembre è dedicata ai bambini: potranno partecipare a numerosi laboratori didattici come l’iniziativa “Che gioia pasticciare” in programma alle ore 16 in Piazza SS Annunziata oppure “A far la spesa con il cuoco” dove i bimbi, aspiranti cuochi, andranno al mercato con lo chef e dopo aver fatto spesa cucineranno insieme a lui, e ancora “La frittatina per merenda”in Piazza Vittore Branca.
Non mancheranno “Dolci peccati” come il cioccolato per predisporre animo e palato, che scandiranno la vostra giornata insieme al gelato dell’Associazione Gelatai Fiorentini che alle ore 17 insegnerà come preparare il gelato con la frutta e nel finale “Stasera penso io all’antipasto”per preparare in maniera semplice tartine e crostini.

Piazza SS Annunziata avrà una postazione per lo “Chef itinerante” e vedrà protagonista Pietro Vattiata- Palazzo Blu di Pisa, in Piazza Vittore Branca invece con “I segreti dello chef” sarà realizzato un piatto grazie a Massimo Rossi – Il Belvedere di Monte San Savino e Maria Campagna – Oreste Campagna di Legri , e ancora il“Premio Chichibio” dove gli allievi della Scuola alberghiera Enriques di Castelfiorentino faranno una dimostrazione di cucina sulle varie tecniche di lavoro. Annamaria Tossani, elegante e raffinata conduttrice del programma Aspettando il TG di Italia7, intervisterà i nostri ospiti che cucineranno con ingredienti doc e molto talento.
Torna la novità in rete“FaceChef”, il concorso proposto attraverso facebook e rivolto a tutti coloro che si dedicano ai fornelli ma non sono cuochi e dove il vincitore si esibirà alle ore 17.30 in Piazza SS Annunziata.
In occasione del settimo centenario della nascita del Boccaccio il Comitato Organizzativo di Boccaccesca ha deciso di onorare l’illustre poeta con la pubblicazione del libro “ I cuochi del Decameron”. L’introduzione è a cura del Direttore Artistico Claudia Palmieri e della giornalista Annamaria Tossani con la prefazione di Fabio Picchi patron del Cibreo, mentre Giorgio Pinchiorri dell’Enoteca Pinchiorri farà conoscere al grande pubblico la cantina del Decameron.
Ingrediente principale di questa edizione sarà dunque la presentazione del libro “I cuochi del Decameron” in programma domenica 29 settembre alle ore 17 in Palazzo Pretorio.

Per giungere infatti a Firenze l’8, contadini e montanari partivano anche alcuni giorni prima con al seguito fiaccole e lanterne di varie forme, con le quali rischiaravano le strade dei monti e della campagne, e una volta giunti in città, anche le buie vie di Firenze…all’epoca infatti l’elettricità non c’era ancora.
L’arrivo di queste genti era uno spettacolo insolito per Firenze e costituiva motivo di allegria, ed anche di scherno da parte dei borghesi (e altezzosi) cittadini fiorentini nei confronti dei provincialotti a causa del loro goffo abbigliamento.
E così, mentre le donne di campagna si aggiravano sbigottite alla vista delle meraviglie fiorentine, i giovinastri le soprannominarono “ferucolone” o “fieruculone”, non tanto perché venivano ad assistere a una “fierucuola” (fiera di non eccessiva importanza), quanto per il grosso e prosperoso fisico che si accasciava sui loro “sederoni” o cosiddetti “magazzini”.
Soprattutto negli anni’50 la festa non ebbe nulla da invidiare ai vari “calcio storico” o la festa di S. Giovanni, lungo l’Arno infatti sfilavano pittoresche barche prontamente allestite dalla maestria artigiana fiorentina: centinaia di piccoli lampioni di cartapesta venivano accompagnati da orchestrine che si prodigavano in romantiche ballate. Secondo altri storici, la festa sarebbe stata istituita per commemorare la conquista di Siena avvenuta la notte del 2 agosto 1554.
Oggi la festa è tornata sabato 7 settembre con il corteo delle Rificolone che partirà da piazza della Signoria ricongiungendosi con il gruppo di circa 500 pellegrini provenienti dalla Basilica dell’Impruneta, i quali percorreranno a piedi un percorso di circa 11 Km fino ad arrivare in piazza S.S. Annunziata, proprio in memoria degli antichi itinerari percorsi dai contadini che venivano in piazza per vegliare e festeggiare il 7 settembre in occasione dell’imminente nascita della Vergine.
L’arrivo del pellegrinaggio, accolto dalla Filarmonica Giuseppe Verdi di Impruneta, è previsto per le ore 19.45 circa in piazza Santa Felicita, dove ci sarà una breve sosta all’interno della chiesa per un momento di preghiera, per poi ripartire attraversando Ponte Vecchio, percorrendo via Por Santa Maria e via Vacchereccia fino ad arrivare in piazza della Signoria dove intorno alle ore 20.40 è previsto il ritrovo delle Rificolone e l’incontro con le autorità civili cittadine.
Il corteo ripartirà da piazza Signoria e percorrendo via Calzaiuoli giungerà in piazza S. Giovanni dove alle ore 21,15 si riunirà ad altri cortei delle Rificolone.
Il corteo, preceduto dal Gonfalone di Firenze, ripartirà percorrendo piazza del Duomo e via dei Servi fino a raggiungere Piazza S.S. Annunziata dove alle 21:45 circa avrà inizio la festa con la benedizione delle Rificolone e dei partecipanti alla manifestazione.7 September

The feast of the rificolone is one of the four traditional old feasts of Florence that is celebrated on 7th September, the day before the religious feast of the Nativity of the Madonna; to reach Florence for the 8th.
In fact, the farmers and mountain dwellers set out a few days before with torches and lanterns of all shapes and sizes, with which they lit the mountain and country roads at night, and when they got to Florence, also the dark streets of the city…there was no electricity at that time.
The arrival of these people was an unusual sight for Florence and was an occasion for merriment and scorn by the bourgeois (and haughty) Florentine citizens towards the country folk due to their awkward clothing. And so, while the women from the Florentine countryside wandered around amazed at the sight of the Florentine marvels, the youths called them “ferucolone” or “fieruculone”, not so much because they had come to a “fierucuola” (a not excessively important fair), but rather for their large and prosperous bottoms.
Especially in the Fifties, the feast had nothing to envy the various “historical football” games or the feast of S. Giovanni. Picturesque boats fitted out by master Florentine craftsmen sailed along the Arno: hundreds of small papier-mâché lamps were accompanied by orchestras playing romantic ballads. According to other historians, the feast was established to commemorate the conquest of Siena on the night of the 2nd August, 1554.
Today the festival is back Saturday, September 7 with the procession of lanterns which will start from Piazza della Signoria rejoining the group of about 500 pilgrims from the Basilica of Impruneta, which will travel on foot a distance of approximately 11 km until you reach piazza SS Annunziata, just in the memory of the ancient routes taken by the farmers who came to the streets to watch and celebrate September 7 at the forthcoming birth of the Virgin.

di Nadia Fondelli – Quando troppo e quando troppo poco… Questa è la Toscana che in un week end, partito in sordina ieri sera 23 agosto e denominato con una discutibile operazione di marketing-turistico “Toscana Arcobaleno d’Estate mette in fila oltre 700 eventi di cui solo alcuni meritevoli di nota. E gli altri giorni dell’estate? Musei chiusi e calma piatta…
Una grande festa coordinata dalla Regione Toscana con il supporto di Toscana Promozione, Fondazione Sistema Toscana e Toscani nel Mondo e suggerita da un quotidiano che intende puntare i riflettori sulle eccellenze toscane: dai prodotti enogastronomici alle bellezze culturali e paesaggistiche.
Oltre 700 eventi organizzati in un solo week end da comuni, province, associazioni, strutture ricettive, musei, stabilimenti balneari e persino rifugi ad alta quota. Tutti visibili in dettaglio sul sito www.arcobalenodestate.it,
Un tuffo in mare alle 17.30 su tutta la costa, un aperitivo al tramonto, cene al lume di candela e in molti luoghi fuochi d’artificio. la mia domanda è dov’è l’evento?
Non sono queste cose che caratterizzano da sempre l’estate in ogni angolo del mondo? Sono queste le cose che dovrebbero promuovere la Toscana nel mondo? La terra dei geni che si promuove con quotidianeità spacciate per straordinarietà?
A voi comunque, oltre la lista completa di ogni evento un focus su quelli ritenuti più importanti in ogni provincia. E auguri se avete il dono dell’ubiquità e riuscirete in una sera, a seguire oltre 700 eventi…. Non era meglio un eventi, magari ben fatto per ogni sera?
Ovviamente non citeremo locali perchè non riteniamo opportuna la pubblicità occulta, a voi poi il giudizio suu quanto possa essere evento straordinario (ad esempio) una corsa di 50 metri al femminile su tacco 12 ?!?
FIRENZE – A Firenze la festa partirà dall’acqua: è in programma, infatti, l’aperitivo sulla piattaforma galleggiante sull’Arno, con animazione e bagno in piscina. Tanti canottieri, bagnini e commercianti hanno scelto di regalare un’emozione unica ai fiorentini e ai turisti accendendo le luci sull’Arno, vero protagonista della serata.
Per una cena originale sushi e bollicine sull’Arno, con i maestri di sushi in costume folkoristico giapponese. I partecipanti verranno fatti salite sulle caratteristiche dragon boat e accompagnati dai canottieri.
Sempre nel capoluogo toscano apertura straordinaria del Forte Belvedere per gustare il panorama di Firenze e dalle 19.30 aperitivo a tema Arcobaleno. Over the Rainbow è l’iniziativa di Confesercenti Firenze in collaborazione con l’EstateFiorentina/gruppo Effetto Estate Firenze: animeranno otto luoghi della città con aperitivi dai colori dell’Arcobaleno, accompagnati da prodotti locali, musica dal vivo e dj-set.
VERSILIA – In Versilia spazio al tuffo in mare delle 17.30, sfida dei 50 metri in tacco 12 (a Viareggio ore 18.30) e sfilata in notturna dei carri del famoso Carnevale (ore 21.30).
Alle 19.30 nella vicina Torre del Lago “Viva il vino spumeggiante”, l’evento proposto dal Festival Pucciniano per Arcobaleno d’Estate con un grande aperitivo in con vista sul Lago di Massaciuccoli, tanto amato dal grande compositore lucchese.
CARRARA, CAPALBIO, BOLGHERI – La festa si snoderà per tutto il territorio regionale in una ola festosa e colorata. Due gruppi di cavalleggeri partiranno alle 10 di sabato 24 da Carrara e da Capalbio per unirsi in un brindisi collettivo a Bolgheri.
Alle 18 percorreranno il famoso viale dei cipressi e troveranno ad accoglierli tamburini, sbandieratori, falconieri, in compagnia della zecca che per l’occasione “batterà moneta” secondo le antiche tecniche di conio.
I cavalieri sosteranno in piazzetta Ugo per il brindisi alla staffa, offerto dalle Strade del Vino e dell’Olio.
Sempre a Bolgheri la sera del 24 è in programma la serata di beneficenza di Bolgheri Melody “Voci per l’Arpa”, che vedrà la partecipazione, tra gli altri di Andrea Bocelli, Enrico Ruggeri, Noemi. L’incasso sarà devoluto a sostegno del “Progetto Dolore” intitolato a Amos Martellacci.
LIVORNO – Per chi si trovasse a Livorno da non perdere l’evento dal titolo “Tutti colori dell’arcobaleno”: dalle ore 19 aperitivo presso l’acquario di Livorno Piazzale Mascagni, 1 con una selezione di vini serviti e raccontati dai sommelier Fisar, il tutto accompagnato da alcune prelibatezze toscane.
Sempre a Livorno in programma “Museo al chiar di luna per Arcobaleno d’Estate”: apertura straordinaria serale gratuita di tutti i settori espositivi dalle ore 19 alle ore 23.30; visite guidate al Planetario a cura dell’Associazione Livornese Scienze Astronomiche dalle ore 21.15; teatro nella splendida cornice dell’Orto botanico.
PISA E PONTEDERA – Qui la festa è iniziata il 23 agosto con la grande cena Arcobaleno organizzata dal Comune e da Confristoranti. Sei i ristoranti cittadini coinvolti nell’iniziativa che vedrà solo con piatti a Km zero.
Parteciperà ai festeggiamenti anche la torre più famosa del mondo che il 24 agosto resterà illuminata 1 ora in più, fino alle ore 23.
Apertura straordinaria, dalle 18.00 alle 22.00, anche per la Domus Galilaeana (via Santa Maria 26). Appuntamento alle 17.30 per tutti i bagnanti delle spiagge di Marina, Tirrenia e Calambrone per il maxi tuffo collettivo. Seguiranno aperitivi, spettacoli, musica e animazione nei bagni del litorale. Non mancheranno i fuochi d’artificio dalle 22.30 sul lungomare di Marina.
A Pontedera (PI), il Museo Piaggio sarà aperto in via straordinaria con eventi a tema e una mostra speciale, mentre le strade della città saranno animate dal Vespa Club della Valdera. Pontedera rilancia il suo fiume, l’Era, con tante iniziative targate Arcobaleno: un battello fluviale trasporterà i passeggeri alla scoperta delle bellezze naturali del corso d’acqua e a bordo del battello.
PISTOIA – La Festa di San Bartolomeo (dal 23 al 25 agosto) entra nel cartellone dell’ Arcobaleno: nell’occasione il museo Civico resterà aperto sabato 24 agosto dalle 10 fino alle 22 (ingresso gratuito), invitando i bambini, accompagnati dai genitori, a scoprire i dipinti in cui è raffigurato il Santo.
L’aperitivo più alto della Toscana è al rifugio Zeno Colò sul Monte Gomito nel pistoiese (1.892 metri sul livello del mare). A partire dalle 19 del 24 agosto brindisi con prodotti locali, il rifugio è raggiungibile in Ovovia.
Domenica 25 agosto in occasione di Arcobaleno Toscana verrà inaugurato nella stessa zona, l’anello dei crinali appenninici: un gruppo di circa 100 coloratissime mountain bike percorrerà il nuovo itinerario per la prima volta, rappresentando una sorta di arcobaleno che unisce tutte le montagne del nostro Appennino.
SIENA – Alle 19.30 nei locali dell’Enoteca italiana si terrà un brindisi-Arcobaleno in contemporanea con tutta la Toscana. La serata proseguirà con la musica della Fondazione Siena Jazz.
Siena partecipa al cartellone eventi con l’apertura notturna gratuita del Museo Civico e del Complesso Museale S. Maria della Scala dalle ore 21 alle ore 24. Sarà visitabile gratuitamente anche il Teatro dei Rinnovati con visita guidata alle ore 21 e alle ore 22,30. Apertura straordinaria a pagamento (ingresso € 8,00) della Torre del Mangia dalle ore 21 alle ore 24 (chiusura biglietteria ore 23,30).
La Comunità Ebraica di Firenze/Sezione di Siena aderisce all’Arcobaleno con un’apertura straordinaria della Sinagoga di Siena dalle ore 21.15 fino alle 23.30. Alle 21.15 avrà luogo il “brindisi Arcobaleno”, con Chianti Classico Kosher, in collaborazione con l’Azienda Agricola Le Macie (Castelnuovo Berardenga). A seguire, visite guidate gratuite in italiano ed inglese.
PRATO, AREZZO, LUCCA – A Prato da non perdere “Un brindisi per la mostra Da Donatello a Lippi”: i locali pubblici del centro alle 19.30 organizzeranno un aperitivo: scatterà così con un brindisi il conto alla rovescia per la grande mostra sul Rinascimento pratese, che riaprirà dopo 16 anni il Museo della città.
Ad Arezzo spazio all’ “Aperitivo Arcobaleno a Casa Bruschi”: per l’occasione la Casa Museo resterà aperta fino alle 22, con visite guidate alla dimora, alla collezione e alle due mostre temporanee in programma: “Dai Macchiaioli al Novecento, opere della collezione Olschki” e l’esposizione delle opere di Feuerman e Shiota nel percorso Icastica.
A Lucca è di scena la Notte Bianca che per questa edizione entra a far parte del cartellone di Toscana Arcobaleno d’Estate. Al centro della festa ci sarà una caccia al tesoro: un modo originale per celebrazione le Mura urbane di cui si festeggia quest’anno il cinquecentenario.
MAREMMA – Maremma da amare è il titolo dell’aperitivo alla Fattoria La Principina. L’offerta gratuita, oltre alle bevande proporrà vini toscani e maremmani, formaggi locali, salumi e piatti tipici come acquacotta, panzanella, pasta e ceci, crostoni e crostini che rappresentano per la Maremma vere e proprie eccellenze gastronomiche. L’aperitivo del 24 vedrà la partecipazione del Coro degli Etruschi fondato dal poeta contadino Morbello Vergari, purtroppo scomparso, che proporrà il meglio del folklore maremmano.
Anche il Museo di Storia Naturale della Maremma partecipa all’arcobaleno con l’apertura gratuita straordinaria dalle 18.30 alle 23.30.
Insieme alla Toscana brinderanno anche le 110 associazioni dei 120mila Toscani nel Mondo. In questi giorni si sono aggiunte le adesioni di Ginevra e Toronto, per un brindisi che coinvolgerà i 5 continenti: da Melburne e Sidney in Australia e da Accra capitale del Ghana, da Buenos Aires a New York, da Asuncion capitale del Paraguay a Siem Reap in Cambogia, da Bangkok a Miami. In Brasile saranno addirittura quattro gli appuntamenti: Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, San Paolo e Jacutinga. Si unirà al brindisi anche Berlino, La Havana, Londra, Parigi, Bruxelles e Montreal.
