di Nadia Fondelli – Quando troppo e quando troppo poco… Questa è la Toscana che in un week end, partito in sordina ieri sera 23 agosto e denominato con una discutibile operazione di marketing-turistico “Toscana Arcobaleno d’Estate mette in fila oltre 700 eventi di cui solo alcuni meritevoli di nota. E gli altri giorni dell’estate? Musei chiusi e calma piatta…
Una grande festa coordinata dalla Regione Toscana con il supporto di Toscana Promozione, Fondazione Sistema Toscana e Toscani nel Mondo e suggerita da un quotidiano che intende puntare i riflettori sulle eccellenze toscane: dai prodotti enogastronomici alle bellezze culturali e paesaggistiche.
Oltre 700 eventi organizzati in un solo week end da comuni, province, associazioni, strutture ricettive, musei, stabilimenti balneari e persino rifugi ad alta quota. Tutti visibili in dettaglio sul sito www.arcobalenodestate.it,
Un tuffo in mare alle 17.30 su tutta la costa, un aperitivo al tramonto, cene al lume di candela e in molti luoghi fuochi d’artificio. la mia domanda è dov’è l’evento?
Non sono queste cose che caratterizzano da sempre l’estate in ogni angolo del mondo? Sono queste le cose che dovrebbero promuovere la Toscana nel mondo? La terra dei geni che si promuove con quotidianeità spacciate per straordinarietà?
A voi comunque, oltre la lista completa di ogni evento un focus su quelli ritenuti più importanti in ogni provincia. E auguri se avete il dono dell’ubiquità e riuscirete in una sera, a seguire oltre 700 eventi…. Non era meglio un eventi, magari ben fatto per ogni sera?
Ovviamente non citeremo locali perchè non riteniamo opportuna la pubblicità occulta, a voi poi il giudizio suu quanto possa essere evento straordinario (ad esempio) una corsa di 50 metri al femminile su tacco 12 ?!?
FIRENZE – A Firenze la festa partirà dall’acqua: è in programma, infatti, l’aperitivo sulla piattaforma galleggiante sull’Arno, con animazione e bagno in piscina. Tanti canottieri, bagnini e commercianti hanno scelto di regalare un’emozione unica ai fiorentini e ai turisti accendendo le luci sull’Arno, vero protagonista della serata.
Per una cena originale sushi e bollicine sull’Arno, con i maestri di sushi in costume folkoristico giapponese. I partecipanti verranno fatti salite sulle caratteristiche dragon boat e accompagnati dai canottieri.
Sempre nel capoluogo toscano apertura straordinaria del Forte Belvedere per gustare il panorama di Firenze e dalle 19.30 aperitivo a tema Arcobaleno. Over the Rainbow è l’iniziativa di Confesercenti Firenze in collaborazione con l’EstateFiorentina/gruppo Effetto Estate Firenze: animeranno otto luoghi della città con aperitivi dai colori dell’Arcobaleno, accompagnati da prodotti locali, musica dal vivo e dj-set.
VERSILIA – In Versilia spazio al tuffo in mare delle 17.30, sfida dei 50 metri in tacco 12 (a Viareggio ore 18.30) e sfilata in notturna dei carri del famoso Carnevale (ore 21.30).
Alle 19.30 nella vicina Torre del Lago “Viva il vino spumeggiante”, l’evento proposto dal Festival Pucciniano per Arcobaleno d’Estate con un grande aperitivo in con vista sul Lago di Massaciuccoli, tanto amato dal grande compositore lucchese.
CARRARA, CAPALBIO, BOLGHERI – La festa si snoderà per tutto il territorio regionale in una ola festosa e colorata. Due gruppi di cavalleggeri partiranno alle 10 di sabato 24 da Carrara e da Capalbio per unirsi in un brindisi collettivo a Bolgheri.
Alle 18 percorreranno il famoso viale dei cipressi e troveranno ad accoglierli tamburini, sbandieratori, falconieri, in compagnia della zecca che per l’occasione “batterà moneta” secondo le antiche tecniche di conio.
I cavalieri sosteranno in piazzetta Ugo per il brindisi alla staffa, offerto dalle Strade del Vino e dell’Olio.
Sempre a Bolgheri la sera del 24 è in programma la serata di beneficenza di Bolgheri Melody “Voci per l’Arpa”, che vedrà la partecipazione, tra gli altri di Andrea Bocelli, Enrico Ruggeri, Noemi. L’incasso sarà devoluto a sostegno del “Progetto Dolore” intitolato a Amos Martellacci.
LIVORNO – Per chi si trovasse a Livorno da non perdere l’evento dal titolo “Tutti colori dell’arcobaleno”: dalle ore 19 aperitivo presso l’acquario di Livorno Piazzale Mascagni, 1 con una selezione di vini serviti e raccontati dai sommelier Fisar, il tutto accompagnato da alcune prelibatezze toscane.
Sempre a Livorno in programma “Museo al chiar di luna per Arcobaleno d’Estate”: apertura straordinaria serale gratuita di tutti i settori espositivi dalle ore 19 alle ore 23.30; visite guidate al Planetario a cura dell’Associazione Livornese Scienze Astronomiche dalle ore 21.15; teatro nella splendida cornice dell’Orto botanico.
PISA E PONTEDERA – Qui la festa è iniziata il 23 agosto con la grande cena Arcobaleno organizzata dal Comune e da Confristoranti. Sei i ristoranti cittadini coinvolti nell’iniziativa che vedrà solo con piatti a Km zero.
Parteciperà ai festeggiamenti anche la torre più famosa del mondo che il 24 agosto resterà illuminata 1 ora in più, fino alle ore 23.
Apertura straordinaria, dalle 18.00 alle 22.00, anche per la Domus Galilaeana (via Santa Maria 26). Appuntamento alle 17.30 per tutti i bagnanti delle spiagge di Marina, Tirrenia e Calambrone per il maxi tuffo collettivo. Seguiranno aperitivi, spettacoli, musica e animazione nei bagni del litorale. Non mancheranno i fuochi d’artificio dalle 22.30 sul lungomare di Marina.
A Pontedera (PI), il Museo Piaggio sarà aperto in via straordinaria con eventi a tema e una mostra speciale, mentre le strade della città saranno animate dal Vespa Club della Valdera. Pontedera rilancia il suo fiume, l’Era, con tante iniziative targate Arcobaleno: un battello fluviale trasporterà i passeggeri alla scoperta delle bellezze naturali del corso d’acqua e a bordo del battello.
PISTOIA – La Festa di San Bartolomeo (dal 23 al 25 agosto) entra nel cartellone dell’ Arcobaleno: nell’occasione il museo Civico resterà aperto sabato 24 agosto dalle 10 fino alle 22 (ingresso gratuito), invitando i bambini, accompagnati dai genitori, a scoprire i dipinti in cui è raffigurato il Santo.
L’aperitivo più alto della Toscana è al rifugio Zeno Colò sul Monte Gomito nel pistoiese (1.892 metri sul livello del mare). A partire dalle 19 del 24 agosto brindisi con prodotti locali, il rifugio è raggiungibile in Ovovia.
Domenica 25 agosto in occasione di Arcobaleno Toscana verrà inaugurato nella stessa zona, l’anello dei crinali appenninici: un gruppo di circa 100 coloratissime mountain bike percorrerà il nuovo itinerario per la prima volta, rappresentando una sorta di arcobaleno che unisce tutte le montagne del nostro Appennino.
SIENA – Alle 19.30 nei locali dell’Enoteca italiana si terrà un brindisi-Arcobaleno in contemporanea con tutta la Toscana. La serata proseguirà con la musica della Fondazione Siena Jazz.
Siena partecipa al cartellone eventi con l’apertura notturna gratuita del Museo Civico e del Complesso Museale S. Maria della Scala dalle ore 21 alle ore 24. Sarà visitabile gratuitamente anche il Teatro dei Rinnovati con visita guidata alle ore 21 e alle ore 22,30. Apertura straordinaria a pagamento (ingresso € 8,00) della Torre del Mangia dalle ore 21 alle ore 24 (chiusura biglietteria ore 23,30).
La Comunità Ebraica di Firenze/Sezione di Siena aderisce all’Arcobaleno con un’apertura straordinaria della Sinagoga di Siena dalle ore 21.15 fino alle 23.30. Alle 21.15 avrà luogo il “brindisi Arcobaleno”, con Chianti Classico Kosher, in collaborazione con l’Azienda Agricola Le Macie (Castelnuovo Berardenga). A seguire, visite guidate gratuite in italiano ed inglese.
PRATO, AREZZO, LUCCA – A Prato da non perdere “Un brindisi per la mostra Da Donatello a Lippi”: i locali pubblici del centro alle 19.30 organizzeranno un aperitivo: scatterà così con un brindisi il conto alla rovescia per la grande mostra sul Rinascimento pratese, che riaprirà dopo 16 anni il Museo della città.
Ad Arezzo spazio all’ “Aperitivo Arcobaleno a Casa Bruschi”: per l’occasione la Casa Museo resterà aperta fino alle 22, con visite guidate alla dimora, alla collezione e alle due mostre temporanee in programma: “Dai Macchiaioli al Novecento, opere della collezione Olschki” e l’esposizione delle opere di Feuerman e Shiota nel percorso Icastica.
A Lucca è di scena la Notte Bianca che per questa edizione entra a far parte del cartellone di Toscana Arcobaleno d’Estate. Al centro della festa ci sarà una caccia al tesoro: un modo originale per celebrazione le Mura urbane di cui si festeggia quest’anno il cinquecentenario.
MAREMMA – Maremma da amare è il titolo dell’aperitivo alla Fattoria La Principina. L’offerta gratuita, oltre alle bevande proporrà vini toscani e maremmani, formaggi locali, salumi e piatti tipici come acquacotta, panzanella, pasta e ceci, crostoni e crostini che rappresentano per la Maremma vere e proprie eccellenze gastronomiche. L’aperitivo del 24 vedrà la partecipazione del Coro degli Etruschi fondato dal poeta contadino Morbello Vergari, purtroppo scomparso, che proporrà il meglio del folklore maremmano.
Anche il Museo di Storia Naturale della Maremma partecipa all’arcobaleno con l’apertura gratuita straordinaria dalle 18.30 alle 23.30.
Insieme alla Toscana brinderanno anche le 110 associazioni dei 120mila Toscani nel Mondo. In questi giorni si sono aggiunte le adesioni di Ginevra e Toronto, per un brindisi che coinvolgerà i 5 continenti: da Melburne e Sidney in Australia e da Accra capitale del Ghana, da Buenos Aires a New York, da Asuncion capitale del Paraguay a Siem Reap in Cambogia, da Bangkok a Miami. In Brasile saranno addirittura quattro gli appuntamenti: Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, San Paolo e Jacutinga. Si unirà al brindisi anche Berlino, La Havana, Londra, Parigi, Bruxelles e Montreal.

E ancora i vini della Georgia in assaggio nella Sala Ospiti, la mostra-mercato con artigiani del gusto e l’Enoteca dei Grandi Cru per l’acquisto di tutti i vini presenti.
Un lungo e grande week end quello di sabato 4, domenica 5 e lunedì 6 maggio 2013 al Real Collegio di Lucca per l’Anteprima dei vini della Costa Toscana, evento organizzato dall’Associazione Grandi Cru della Costa Toscanac he si fa in tre!
Una giornata in più infatti rispetto al passato; tre giorni in tutto per scoprire “l’altra Toscana” del vino, quella meno nota, nel suo tradizionale appuntamento annuale primaverile, giunto quest’anno alla XII edizione che porta in degustazione il meglio della produzione costiera: più di 80 viticoltori da Massa Carrara, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno e Grosseto, fra grandi aziende e piccole realtà a conduzione familiare che si racconteranno nel bicchiere attraverso l’assaggio di oltre 400 etichette fra campioni “en primeur” e annate in commercio.
Losfondo sarà quello splendido e consueto del Real Collegio di Luccain Piazza del Collegio, che vedrà il susseguirsi di numerosi eventi con apertura il sabato e la domenica dalle 11 alle 20 e il lunedì dalle 11 alle 18.
Fra gli eventi da segnalare il ciclo dei laboratori tematici guidati da giornalisti ed esperti di settoree l’ormai consueta finestra extra-territoriale che dopo la Bulgaria poterà nella sala degli Ospiti i produttori dellaGeorgia che presentare territori ed etichette(con tema “Le cinquemila vendemmie: la Georgia fra tradizioni plurimillenarie e vini contemporanei”),momento di incontro e conoscenza grazie al quale il pubblico potrà confrontarsi con prodotti non certo comune nel mercato nazionale!
Ad affiancare i tanti vini in assaggio – tutti acquistabili presso l’Enoteca saranno ancora una volta gli artigiani del gusto presenti al Real Collegio, protagonisti di una mostra-mercato che, oltre all’assaggio delle tante specialità presenti, permetterà una pausa pranzo fra una degustazione e l’altra.
L’Anteprima 2013 durerà come detto una giornata in più – il lunedì – rispetto alle passate edizioni, sempre aperta al pubblico, ma pensata in particolare per favorire la presenza degli operatori di settore, con possibilità di degustare i vini presenti in un clima di assoluta tranquillità e stabilire un contatto ancor più diretto con i produttori.

di redazione – Vado&Vedo escursioni dell’amico guida ambientale Michele Colombini propone, con quest’esplosione improvvisa e attesa di primavera, una bellissima escursione sul Monte di San Giuliano Terme alla scoperta delle fioriture spontanee di orchidee.
Da non perdere per immergersi negli odori più intensi della stagione questa escursione con percorso ad anello che si sviluppa lungo una zona molto interessante dal punto di vista storico e naturalistico e più precisamente all’interno dell’A.N.P.I.L Monte Castellare.
In questa grande area assolata con vegetazione caratterizzata principalmente a gariga sono presenti molte specie botaniche quali l’elicriso (Helichrysum italicum), l’Euphorbia spinosa, la vedovella dei prati (Globularia punctatum), l’iris (Iris lutescens), il cisto (Cistus monspeliensis, Cistus salvifoulius), il lentisco (Pistacia lentiscus), la fillirea (Phyllirea sp. pl), il mirto (Myrtus communis) e l’alaterno (Rhamnus alaternus).
Con Michele esperta guida ed appassionato di botanica saliremo fino alla tonda cima del Monte di San Giuliano dove potremo osservare specie botaniche di alto interesse naturalistico e godere dello splendido panorama che si estende dalle Alpi Apuane e l’Appennino fino al mare.
Speciali le numerose e talvolta rare orchidee che colorano il Monte Pisano dal mese di marzo fino a giugno presentando, in particolar modo in questa zona, una gariga multicolore. Alcune tra le specie presenti sono: Ophrys sphegodes, Orchis papilionacea, Serapias neglecta, Serapian lingua, Orchis maculata, Ophrys apifera, Orchis morio, Orchis simia, Orchis tridentata.

Escursione di mezza giornata su percorso escursionistico privo di difficoltà tecniche (presenza di un tratto ripido in discesa fuori sentiero) che si sviluppa ad anello.
Tempo di percorrenza: 2 ore e 30 minuti (di cammino escluse le soste)

Michele with expert guidance and a passion for botany climb up to the round top of San Giuliano hill, where we can observe the botanical species of high natural interest and enjoy the beautiful panorama that stretches from the Alps and the Apennines to the sea.
Special numerous and sometimes rare orchids that color the Monte Pisano from March until June presenting, especially in this area, a multi garrigue. Some of the species are: sphegodes Ophrys, Orchis papilionacea, Serapias neglecta, Serapian language, Orchis maculata, Bee Ophrys, Orchis morio, Orchis Simia, Orchis tridentata.

di Nadia Fondelli – Questa è una storia che parla di un amore. Un amore vero, sincero. L’amore per la Vita.
Le nuove tecnologie, le chat e i social network sono tanto amati quanto bistrattati. Sopratutto bistrattati quando si tratta di cronaca che, in questi casi, diventa quasi sempre nera…
Eppure nella rete esistono non solo le brutte cose, ma tante belle storie straboccanti d’amore e d’amicizia.
Quando qualche anno fa ho dato alle stampe insieme ad una nota psicografologa il libro “Chat line: dalla trasgressione alla solitudine” volevo proprio focalizzare quest’aspetto.
La rete non è solo un diavolo tentatore, ma un luogo dove, così come nella vita reale, esiste sia il male che il bene.
Quanti in rete hanno trovato amici virtuali spesso divenuti poi anche reali che gli hanno salvati dalla solitudine? Quanti hanno trovato l’amore della loro vita, quello con la A maiuscola?
Tanti, molto più di quelli che potete pensate solo che, a differenza delle brutte notizie, le belle non trovano mai spazio sulla cronaca…
Con quel libro volevo cospargermi la testa di cenere, quasi come se scriverlo fosse lo “scontare” un senso di colpa della categoria giornalistica.
Ebbene sì. Sogno da sempre che ogni giornale abbia la sua bella sezione dedicata alle “belle notizie”; che un tg si apra lanciando news ricolme d’amore… anche per bilanciare le tante cattive notizie e anche per risollevare lo spirito della società in tempi come quelli attuali… decisamente grami…
The Tuscany vuole così nel suo piccolo colmare questo vuoto sperando di essere presto emulato anche da tante testate più famose .
Inizio così da oggi su questo giornale – e con una gran voglia di farlo sempre più di frequente – a regalarvi delle buone notizie.
Non sarà facile farlo anche perchè scovarle non è semplice, ma noi ci proviamo, iniziando con questa bella storia d’amore che dai social network si è sviluppata nella vita reale.
Sogno che le nostre belle storie siano anche espressione di una società viva e solidale, anzi sono a questo tipo di storie che dedicheremo più attenzione: quelle non solo belle, ma piene d’amore…
E allora iniziamo con il nostro primo “c’era una volta”
C’era una volta Paola Rita Ledda, una giovane donna di origine sarda residente da anni a Pisa che sulla rete ha scoperto il valore dell’amore per la vita, attraverso il contributo che lei stessa poteva dare per salvare tante vite. Vite sconosciute, vite compromesse, vite ammalate.
Paola un giorno s’imbatte per caso nella pagina del Nucleo Operativo di Protezione Civile – Logistica dei Trapianti. La grafica e le news rilanciate sono accattivanti; si parla e ci sono foto di persone che girano il mondo per trasportare la vita, anzi, la VITA, tutto maiuscolo come amano scrivere loro.
Paola s’interessa, s’iscrive alla pagina, si appassiona, ma continua a seguire le notizie e i post, in disparte, con discrezione. Però l’idea di poter dare il suo contributo a salvare delle vite e andare in giro per il mondo l’affascina e comincia a frullargli in testa.
In realtà Paola, di mondo ne ha già girato un bel po’ sia per passione sia per sue esperienze lavorative, ma l’idea di essere l’ideale collegamento tra due vite, che resteranno per sempre unite dal fantastico gesto della donazione, era davvero coinvolgente e le stimolava molti pensieri positivi.
In uno dei tanti passaggi su quella pagina vede un post: “Come diventare nostri volontari”. Paola legge attentamente e dopo un minimo di titubanza, invia un messaggio.
La risposta è incoraggiante e, senza perdere tempo, viene invitata a partecipare come osservatrice a una missione. Non se lo fa ripetere due volte, partecipa, rimane ancora più entusiasta e si dà da fare più che può per bruciare le tappe ed essere idonea: dopo circa un mese di training è pronta per spiccare il volo, da buon “angelo” e a compiere la prima missione internazionale di corriere internazionale di cellule staminali e midollo osseo per trapianto dalla Germania, paese della donazione, alla Spagna paese dove verrà effettuato il trapianto!
“Da molto pensavo a un modo in cui essere utile al prossimo, che mi desse modo di compiere azioni che avessero un senso più profondo e che non avvertissi essere fini a loro stesse.
Facilitata dal fatto di essere una studentessa e di lavorare come fotografa freelance, mi ritrovo ad avere modo – per la maggior parte del tempo – di poter organizzare i miei impegni nella maniera a me più favorevole; ho reputato così che fosse questo il momento più opportuno per, finalmente, fare qualcosa!”
Mi sono avvicinata al Nucleo – continua Paola – valutando delle opzioni in maniera più astratta che concreta se devo essere onesta; quando mi sono accorta che uno dei miei contatti su Facebook condivideva foto e links vari di viaggi svolti da lui e da altri per portare “la VITA” dove ce ne fosse bisogno, ne sono rimasta incuriosita.
Ho cercato qualche informazione in più e più venivo a conoscenza del tipo di impegno di cui si trattava, più venivo attratta dalla cosa. Ho dunque risposto a un annuncio sulla pagina facebook, in cui si cercavano nuovi volontari e così è iniziata la mia avventura.
Le abbiamo chiesto,dopo la sua prima missione, quali emozioni poteva raccontarci:
“Per me è un’emozione grandissima sapere che, nel mio piccolo, posso dare un aiuto a chi a bisogno, che posso impiegare il mio tempo non solo per prendermi cura di me e dei miei affari, ma mettendomi a disposizione del prossimo. Il tempo donato è un tempo guadagnato”.
Sulla pagina dell’associazione oggi c’è una foto di Paola a tutta pagina, con la sua storia in breve. Quella pagina è stata vista in poco meno di 36 ore da oltre duemila persone!
Tanti i commenti d’incoraggiamento e Paola che così risponde: “Grazie a tutti! E’ un sogno poter fare una cosa realmente utile, che dia un senso alle giornate” .
Un commento alquanto eloquente sull’amore per la vita che anima Paola, come l’ultima frase che ci ha detto :“il tempo donato, è un tempo guadagnato” ma, ci assicura, che anche tutti gli altri componenti del Nucleo Operativo di Protezione Civile – Logistica dei Trapianti, la pensano così!
Per chi volesse seguire l’esempio di Paola prima di rimandarvi al sito dell’associazionee alcuni brevi cenni su come diventare “angeli della vita”.
In poche righe sono necessarie:
-buona disponibilità di tempo perché ogni missione dura da 2 a 5 giorni e non può essere interrotta;

– disponibilità a spostamenti
– grande senso di responsabilità perché da ogni missione dipende la vita di qualcuno
– capacità di interagire in squadra

di Nadia Fondelli – Con la primavera torna un appuntamento speciale per conoscere luoghi insoliti del nostro paese. Per persone curiose che amano farsi coinvolgere con cuore e mente ecco l’edizione 2013 delle Giornate Fai di Primavera in programma sabato 23 e domenica 24 marzo.
Vita, storie e leggende. Scrigni d’arte preziosi, opere d’arte che si svelano, giardini incantati… Sono oltre 700 i luoghi italiani, spesso inacessibili e per l’occasione eccezionalmente a disposizione del pubblico, con visite a contributo libero: chiese, palazzi, aree archeologiche, ville, borghi, giardini; persino caserme, centrali idroelettriche e un osservatorio astronomico.
Anche in Toscana basta scegliere: a Firenze ad esempio sarà possibile scoprire la Cappella Ruccellai, l’Istituto di scienze militari aereonautiche delle Cascine, il palazzo Portinai Salviati, il giardino di Villa Corsini a Castello e villa La Quiete alle Montalve.

Cosa fare per la propria auto
All’approssimarsi dei mesi invernali è buona norma effettuare i seguenti controlli tecnici alla propria auto:
verificare che i tergicristalli siano perfettamente a filo con la superficie da liberare dall’acqua;
controllare la batteria che con il freddo corre il rischio di scaricarsi;
mettere l’antigelo nel radiatore e nel liquido per pulire i parabrezza;
se si intende viaggiare frequentemente su strade innevate è opportuno sostituire i pneumatici tradizionali con quelli specifici per la neve che hanno mescole più adatte al freddo e disegni capaci di assicurare una migliore aderenza.
Le catene da neve devono comunque essere sempre pronte all’uso, perché in presenza di neve abbondante i pneumatici invernali potrebbero non essere sufficienti. Inoltre l’inosservanza di questo consiglio potrebbe costare una multa: attenzione, i controlli sono già iniziati con le prime sanzioni elevate. Le catene devono essere utilizzate solo sulle strade coperte di neve per non correre il rischio di danneggiarle, compromettere la sicurezza di guida e non rischiare guasti agli organi di assetto.
Cosa fare per la viabilità
In auto oltre ad essere obbligatorio l’uso di pneumatici da neve o catene è consigliato tenere sempre a portata di mano un paio di guanti da lavoro e il montaggio delle catene deve essere sempre provato prima del verificarsi della situazione d’emergenza.
Durante l’evento nevoso non aspettare mai a montare le catene da neve quando si è già in condizioni di difficoltà specie se si devono affrontare percorsi con presenza di salite e discese anche di modesta pendenza.
Evitare di proseguire nel viaggio se non si ha un minimo di pratica di guida sulla neve e se ci si sente in difficoltà o non si ha il corretto equipaggiamento. Parcheggiare la propria auto in sicurezza sul lato della strada e a piedi trovare un rifugio idoneo.
Non abbandonare l’auto in condizioni che possono costituire impedimento alla normale circolazione degli altri veicoli ed in particolare dei mezzi operativi e di soccorso.
Aiutare le persone in difficoltà e non esitare a richiedere aiuto in caso di necessità, o meglio in caso di dubbio se non siete perfettamente sicuri su come fare per montare le catene, per posteggiare l’auto anche all’interno di proprietà private, per avere consigli ed indicazioni, etc.
Preferire sempre, per quanto possibile, l’utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici e non utilizzare mai i veicoli a due ruote.
Indossare abiti e soprattutto calzature idonee all’eventualità di sostenere spostamenti a piedi.
Cosa fare se vi trovate bloccati in auto in mezzo a un ingorgo
Se vi trovate bloccati nel mezzo di un ingorgo stradale siccome non sapete quanto potrà durare fate attenzione a quanto carburante avete in macchina e se il serbatoio è meno di un quarto non tenete costantemente il motore acceso, ma alternate accensione e spegnimento in ragione di 10 minuti di accensione e 30 di spegnimento per mantenere il motore e l’abitacolo in temperatura.
In questi casi l’autoradio è una risorsa preziosa, stiamo cercando di attivare un network di radio locali che in caso di emergenza siano disponibili a dare informazioni sulle condizioni della viabilità e consigli su eventuali percorsi alternativi.
Non attaccatevi al cellulare chiamando tutti per informarli della vostra disavventura o chiedere aiuto perchè non sapete quanto dovrete stare nella situazione in cui vi trovate e spesso i numeri di emergenza sono intasati; risparmiate la batteria del vostro cellulare, può essere determinante. Individuate una persona a casa o in ufficio che faccia per voi da tramite chiamando la polizia stradale, la Protezione Civile e il Comune per avere informazioni e fare eventuali richieste di aiuto. Usando il cellulare solo per parlare col vostro tramite allungherete la durata delle vostre batterie e la possibilità di restare in contatto.
Qualora dobbiate fare delle richieste di aiuto urgenti siate pronti a fornire i seguenti dati: strada in cui vi trovate (esempio: Autostrada A1 oppure SGC oppuree FIPILI) nel caso non conosciate il nome della strada almeno cercate di sapere indicare i nomi delle uscite più prossime e la direzione che state percorrendo (esempio: da Firenze nord verso sud, oppure Superstrada tra Empoli e Montopoli in direzione Pisa).
Cosa fare a casa
Si consiglia a tutti di fornirsi di un’adeguata e idonea scorta di sale da utilizzare per la viabilità privata (anche pedonale) e per gli eventuali marciapiedi esterni; di dotare ogni stabile (organizzandosi fra condomini) di un’attrezzatura minima come badili e pale da neve.
E’ necessario che infatti in caso di ghiacciate e nevicate per tutelare l’incolumità pubblica tutta la cittadinanza s’impegni a rimuovere neve e ghiaccio davanti alle proprie abitazioni e esercizi commerciali, pulire la cunetta stradale, liberare caditoie e tombini per agevolare il deflusso delle acque, spargere un adeguato quantitativo di sale se è previsto gelo, aprire varchi in corrispondenza degli attraversamenti pedonali ed incroci stradali, abbattere eventuali lame di neve e ghiaccio pendenti da tetti cornicioni e grondai e rimuovere le autovetture parcheggiate a bordo strada per permettere di liberare le carreggiate.
Tutto questo non è solo dovere civico di ogni cittadino, ma un preciso obbligo del regolamento di polizia municipale che non tutti conoscono!
In caso sia necessario muoversi a piedi prestando attenzione che dai tetti o dai cornicioni non ci sia pericolo di caduta di cumuli di neve, specie nei giorni successivi alla nevicata durante il disgelo sono frequenti le cadute di cumuli dai tetti.
Come utilizzare correttamente il sale
Il sale può essere usato solo per intervenire su formazioni di ghiaccio di limitato spessore.
E’ consigliabile quindi, intervenire preventivamente con salature laddove ci siano preavvisi di formazione di ghiaccio tenendo presente che il sale non produce nessun effetto in presenza di eccessivi spessori e/o in presenza di temperature troppo rigide (inferiori a -10°).
In caso di forti nevicate in atto togliere, prima di spargere il sale, quasi completamente la neve.
Il quantitativo di sale da spargere deve essere proporzionale allo spessore da sciogliere: esempio con un chilogrammo di sale si possono trattare 20 metri quadrati di superficie. Quantità superiori potrebbero danneggiare le pavimentazioni.
E’ doveroso ricordare che è sempre megllio utilizzare il sale specifico per disgelo e solo in caso di stretta necessità si può utilizzare il sale grosso da cucina.
Non usare mai acqua per eliminare cumuli di neve e ghiaccio soprattutto se su di essi è stato precedentemente sparso il sale.
Come proteggere la propria rete idrica
E’ bene all’approssimarsi della stagione più fredda prendere le giuste informazioni dal gestore del servizio idrico sulle misure da adottare per la protezione della rete idrica da possibili ghiacciate. Comunque sia è sempre opportuno proteggere il contatore da possibili ghiacciate, utilizzando materiali isolanti e in casa quando le temperature scendono sotto i -5° tenete costantemente aperto un flusso di acqua da almeno uno dei rubinetti.
